Transformers, the animated robot series with characters who can disguise themselves as everyday objects, was a worldwide phenomenon with a massive loyal (some might even say obsessed) fanbase. Syndicated around the globe and with merchandise ranging from clothing and furnishings to the ubiquitous transforming toys, there were several series and an animated feature film long before the live-action blockbuster of 2007.
Metrodome Film, distributors of international cult and art-house cinema and DVD releases, released the original animated Tranformers feature film on DVD in 2007 and followed it up with series-collections and box-sets. We created a side-scrolling shoot-em-up online game featuring the Transformers characters to embellish the Transformers DVD site.
