The latest evolution of Do Tank’s collaboration with The Sancho Plan used the BBC’s Big Screens to deliver a multi-player augmented reality experience in a public space. Up to four users at once had control of their own animated singing character, and collaborated with others to create intricate improvised harmonies and rhythms.
This project also created an online version of the collaborative experience, accessed via a webcam. The project used Do Tank’s sound engine and was supported by Arts Council England. You can play Augmented Reality online here
