Pilot is an iPhone application for anyone who’s ever regretted getting rid of their model plane collection. Users can choose from RAF, USAF, Luftwaffe and IJAF (Japanese) Air Forces to pick an associated plane such as the Spitfire, and – for extra realism – download free wings from a website to attach to the iPhone. Users can then ‘fly’ the phone around the room, dropping bombs and firing guns, while the phone provides the nnnnnnnnNNNNNNNEEEEEEEAAAAAWWWWW BOOM BOOM AKAKAKAKAKAKAK sound effects you always wanted as a kid.
