MTV regularly run competitions in conjunction with feature film releases, giving viewers the chance to win film-themed holidays and other film-related prizes. The promotions contain about 50/50 spilt of film-footage and MTV-influenced animation. Do Tank Studios produced the creative for a series of promotions including Hitman and Heartbreak Kid for MTV. We used mixtures of 3D and After Effects animation to achieve the look and feel we wanted and had a lot of fun creating Mexican Day of the Dead themed animations.
