Big Brother is just as popular in South Africa as it was in its heyday in the UK – and we’ve created a social TV application which lets South African Big Brother fans get really involved in their favourite show on DSTV.

The application sits on the DSTV website, and lets anyone send a message to the show’s producers to be shown on air, either using their Facebook credentials, or they can tweet messages with the hashtag #bigbroafrica or #stargame. These comments are then pulled together onto the website, kickstarting debates between fans of the show.

Alongside this Big Brother fans can read all the latest news articles, and vote in polls about the housemates and their goings on.
